How Inland Ash Scattering Works in Singapore

Choose the Location

Singapore has two designated sites for inland ash scattering. We can help you decide which location is best for your family.
• Garden of Peace @ Chua Chu Kang: A serene, open garden setting with designated lanes.
• Garden of Serenity @ Mandai: Located near the crematorium, offering a quiet environment with pebble paths.

Prepare the Ashes

Before scattering, remains must be pulverized into a fine powder. This is an NEA requirement to ensure ashes blend into the soil naturally. We ensure this is done correctly during collection.

The Ceremony

On the day of the scattering:
• We arrive at the garden at your booked time.
• Our guide leads you to the designated scattering lane.
• You scatter the ashes onto the pebble lanes.
• You may scatter the fresh flower petals over the ashes.
• Families often observe a moment of silence or say final words.

Please Note: To keep the garden clean and peaceful, only fresh flowers can be scattered. No burnt offerings, joss sticks, or food items are allowed inside the garden.
